The DMS battery charger range is the recommended charger for the Varley Red Top range of batteries, in order to maximise their performance and lifespan. The 8 amp 3 stage charger can recharge a Red Top 15 from 0 to 95 percent in less than 2 hours. This allows quick charging between sessions/races so you can always go out with a fresh battery.

The 3 stages of charge are:

Constant Current - To return the bulk of the power to the battery with a high current charge.

Constant Voltage - To balance each of the batteries cells by gradually reducing the current.

Trickle Charge - Applies a small maintenance current which can be left attached indefinitely without any risk to the battery.
